Daddy's first diaper change

Daddy's first diaper change, he did wonderful!!

My brother (Jeromy), sister (Dana), mom, dad, sister-in-law(Jessica) and brother-in-law (Casey) meeting Charley!

Shortly after the grandmothers came in to meet Charley, the doctors had to take him back to the nusury becuase his temp was low. He stayed there for about an hour before they brought him back to us. David's dad and brother did not get to meet him on Thursday because of this.

After Charley arrived David and I had about an hour alone with him and then Aunt Dana was the first to meet him. After Aunt Dana came in a took some pictures and met Charley, we let the grandmothers come in. He is the first grandchild on David's side so his mother was very excited. My Mamaw and Papaw came in at this time too. Everyone agreed that Charley looks like his daddy, Davd ;)

The doctor took me back to have the c-section at 7:45 and Charley arrived at 7:55 am. It was the greatest feeling in the world to finally meet this little guy that I had been carrying in my tummy for 9 months. He is so wonderful and I could not imagine life without him.

On October 7, 2009 I went to the doctor because I was having contractions about 7 minutes apart. They stopped after about an hour and I thought we were not going to have Charley just yet. When they took m blood pressure it was very high and when they did the ultrasound to check on Charley they discovered that he was breached, head up, but down. He was fine but the doctor admitted me that night and scheduled my c-section for 7:45 the next morning ;)
