Happy Mother's Day

This year was my first mother's day and I didn't even get a picture with my little man. On Saturday we went to my parents house to celebrate Mother's day, Jessica's, and Mamaw's birthdays (Wow that was a lot) Then on Mothers day we went to David's mom and dad's house to be with his mom. His mom took all the pictures so I don't have any to post-sorry. I am blessed with a wonderful mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. I have many women in my life who set great examples for me and how I want to be a mother to my son.

When left alone....

Charley will make a mess!!! I walked away from Charley to get a napkin and when I turned around he had his baby food out of the jar and all over himself. We let him play in it for a little while because he was just too cute!!

Hanging out outside:)

Charley loves to be outside and that is where we are a lot of afternoons. We have a small pond behind out house and some wild geese have taken up residence with us. We had one nest on top of the hay shed-it was really neat getting to watch her, the daddy goose, and the babies hang out in the pond.

Six months

At Charley's six month check up he weighed 17.11 lbs. and was 27 inches long. He is getting big fast. At six months he is in size 3 diapers, eating level 2 foods, wearing 6 month cloths, sitting up with no support and rolling over. Wow look at all I can do:)

Charley Loves....

his Great Grandparents and they LOVE him!! My Mamaw and Papaw adore Charley and all three of their great gandkids. They surprised us one day by stopping by to see him and eat dinner. We love spending time with them and Charley absolutely eats them up.

Chicken and Egg Festival

I am very behind on my blog so I am going to try and catch up slowly. In April Charley and I went to a festival in Moulton call the chicken and egg festival. Yes, it sounds like a redneck festival, but it was really fun. Charley loved seeing the tractors and the chickens of course. After the festival we went to Bankhead national forest for a little hike; it was beautiful and of course I forgot my camera.
