Easter 2010
WOW! I am soo behind on posting. Now that summer is here I am going to try and be a good blogger and keep it up to date. Charley celebrated his first Easter this year and it was wonderful. We went to my parent's house to hunt Easter eggs. We are going to start having to teach Charley early for next years hunt because the eggs have money in them:) Unfortunately Charley wasn't quite himself because he had rotavirus, of course this didn't keep him from smiling every time the camera was pointed in his direction.

Time for tubes
Charley got tubes put in his ears on March 29. Charley was much more brave than his mommy. It was very hard watching them walk away with him. Before I could finish crying he was back in the room with us. He did wonderful, just slept a good bit when we got home. He hasn't had an ear infection since his tubes.
Before tubes.....
After tubes.....Before tubes.....
GreatGrands and Grands
This is Charley's Papaw, Mamaw, Mimi and Popee. Charley is the third and youngest (as of now) grandchild on my side. So they all oo and ah over him when he is around. Charley loves all the attention that he gets, especially from his Mamaw:) My grandmother (Mamaw) calls him her baby, she says that he is going to love her the best. I love seeing him with them and I know all his grandparents are going to be a very important part of his life.
Fun in a box
It is amazing what children can have fun doing. We were at Mimi and Popee's house and my dad found a empty Pampers box, tied a belt to it, put Charley and Conner in it and pulled. They thought this was the best thing ever. My dad pulled them around til the box finally gave in and broke. This just goes to prove that you don't have to spend a lot of money to make these two happy:)
Weekend with Cousin Conner!
Charley and I went and stayed with Aunt Dana and Cousin Conner March 19-21.This was Charley's first time to sleep over and he did wonderful. We had sooo much fun hanging out with them. When we got there Friday we stayed outside and pulled them in the wagon for a little while. Saturday morning we all got up and went to Oneonta to see Trouble, my horse, at a horse show. The boys loved see all the horses, Conner would point at the horses as they went by. We went to the park later that day and pulled the boys around in the wagon some more. Conner especially loved walking around. He was so funny because when Dana would try and hold his hand he would cry, he is such an independent little thing:) We really enjoyed staying with Aunt Dana and cousin Conner for the weekend. We have to do it more often!!!
Happy Birthday Papaw!

SHE THINKS MY TRACTOR'S SEXY
When Charley and I got home David was working on the tractor. Of course David couldn't resist giving Charley a ride. Charley liked it til the tractor started moving and then he started crying. It was so pretty outside we walked out to the pasture to see Freckles, Charley's pony. I can't wait til he gets big enough to enjoy being outside playing!!
