Going Private

I know I am a horrible blogger, but I am going to update very soon:) I have decided to make my blog private. We had a workshop at school that talked about what people could do with pictures on your blog and face book. So I decided I would like to know who is viewing my blog. Preserving Memories

December is here and the most wonderful time of the year is approaching fast, Christmas. I have many wonderful Christmas memories, but the best is of last Christmas. Last Christmas was extra special because it was our first Christmas with Charley. Charley was only 2 months old and didn’t know what was so special about December 25, but David and I loved playing Santa Clause. I know that in the years to come Charley’s first Christmas will remain very special in our hearts. We will always be able to reflect on that very special Christmas through the many photos taken. One Year Old

Charley turned one on October 8. David and I both took half a day at work to celebrate his birthday with him. We took Charley to the zoo for the first time. The weather was beautiful and Charley loved getting to see all the animals. His favorite part was getting to feed the birds. I had to stand very close because he really wanted to touch them. David and I loved getting to spend this very special day with him. I can't believe he is already a year old; where does the time go? The past year has been the best year, Charley is such a blessing. As you can probably tell from his pictures, he is always smiling. He laughs all the time and is always a joy to be around. He has started walking and saying momma and dada. He tries really hard to say Braxton (the dog) but only David and I understand what he is saying. He is learning to say please (pease) and thank you (tank oo). I love watching him explore and learn new things each day, and I look forward to what this year will bring. We celebrated his birthday with family on Sunday October 10. It was very special becuase everyone came. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and hung out outside. The weather was wonderful and Charley loved getting to celebrate with everyone.

Charley's favorite part of his birthday party was getting to eat his cake. He wasn't real sure about what to do at first, but it didn't take him long to figure it out. David and I loved watching him stuff his face with cake:)

Charley's Family

Charley is a very lucky little boy to have such loving grandparents and great grandparents. It is not often that he gets to spend time with all four sets, but on his birthday they were all there to celebrate. He has a family that loves him very much and they were all there to celebrate his very special first birthday.

Our Little Cowboy!

Charley has been around horses since the day we brought him home from the hospital. I have been waiting on letting him ride one with me because I didn't want to scare him. On Labor day this year we went to my parents house and the weather was extremely nice. I decided that I was going to ride horses and of course Charley got on with me. He LOVED it. He would laugh every time she (Coco the horse) would bounce a little bit. After he rode with me I let him sit on her by himself as we walked around (my hand tight on his leg making sure he didn't slip) He just laughed and smiled the entire time. I think he is going to enjoy the horses as much as I do. When he is around the horses he will reach out to pet them and love on them. I can say " give him aome lovin" and he loves on the horses. He is such a sweet little boy!!

Levi and Charley

Erin and Levi stopped by to visit and Levi was wearing the same outfit as Charley. It wasn't planned, but it sure was cute:)

Welcome Levi

On August 3, 2010 Erin had a beautiful baby boy. Levi weighed 5lbs 130z and was 19 inches long. Charley wasn't sure what to think about him, but I know it won't be long until they are the best of buddies. Congratulations Erin and Tyler!!!

1st Hair Cut

No he is not a year yet, but he had to have a hair cut. If we had of waited until he was a year he would have long curls. Everywhere we go people say "she is such a pretty little girl." So, as hard as it was I had to have his hair cut. On July 31, 2010 I had his hair cut and now he looks like a little man:)
